Welcome to KapStone Charleston Kraft LLC’s Summerville Lumber Mill, a division of KapStone Paper & Packaging Corporation. Summerville Lumber produces over 100 million board feet of high quality Southern Yellow Pine annually — enough for 7,000 to 8,000 new homes. … KapStone purchased our facility in July of 2008 with the vision of becoming the Mill of Choice for users of Southern Yellow Pine. To help us reach this goal we’ve changed our Product Mix to include 18’ and 20’ lumber; we’re also committed to improving the quality of our products so that we can appeal to high standards set by the Retail Market.
In addition to producing 2” x 4” through 2” x 12” dimensional lumber we also produce 5/4” x 6” Radius Edge Decking and small timbers ranging from 4”x 4”, 4” x 6” and 6” x 6”.
