Environmental Policy, Roanoke Rapids Mill

• The Roanoke Rapids Mill will comply with all applicable environmental regulations and permits, the company's own Sustainable Forestry Initiatives, and with the Environmental, Health and Safety principles of the American Forest and Paper Association.
• The Roanoke Rapids Mill Manager will certify quarterly to KapStone corporate management the mill's compliance status with all applicable environmental regulations and permit conditions.
• The Roanoke Rapids Mill will integrate continual environmental improvement, pollution prevention and employee diligence into daily operations.
• The Roanoke Rapids Mill will develop site specific annual objectives for environmental improvements that support these goals.
• The Roanoke Rapids Mill will share information on environmental performance and the mill's Environmental Management System with the community.
