Who We Are

We’re Ride Rite, a division of KapStone Paper & Packaging Corporation, and the worlds largest manufacturer of inflatable dunnage products… air bags!  In fact, we actually invented Disposable Inflatable Dunnage (DID) air bags in the early 1960’s.

We began life as a good idea, and part of International Paper’s Kraft Paper Business in Camden, Arkansas.  In the early days,  our business was not centralized, but was housed in three separate locations around Camden.  The business continued to grow from this simple beginning, and in the late 90’s, we consolidated manufacturing under one roof, and moved into our current location in Fordyce, Arkansas.

In January 2007, Ride Rite was purchased by KapStone as a core component  of their kraft paper and packaging business.  We’re excited about fresh opportunities the relationship with KapStone brings, and secure in their dedication to preserve the traditions of innovation, quality, and value our customers expect.
