Kraftpak® Paperboard

Kraftpak® is an unbleached, uncoated, high strength paperboard that has earned an excellent reputation as a versatile and reliable performer in many folding carton and similar packaging segments.    Kraftpak’s low density, two-ply natural fiber design provides maximum strength and performance while using the least amount of fiber for the job.

Features and Benefits

Durability

Kraftpak® paperboard is stiff and strong with high tear strength and internal bond strength, helping Kraftpak remain durable under pressure. This results in improved product protection and a decrease in inventory loss.

Low-Density, High-Yield

Kraftpak paperboard uses less fiber for given calipers, which can help manufacturers deliver output that generates more cartons per ton, making Kraftpak a very efficient and cost-effective packaging option.

Uniformity

Caliper, basis weight and moisture uniformity along with consistent sheet feeding help Kraftpak perform well during the converting process, resulting in more efficient manufacturer productivity.

Consistency

State-of-the-art stock preparation systems yield a clean, uniform, natural brown appearance. Brightness is controlled for improved shade and color consistency to increase brand appeal.

Moisture Resistance

Kraftpak is moisture resistant and durable when wet, making it an ideal substrate for many challenging packaging applications. Low sulfur and chloride content make it suitable for metal component packaging.
